Excellence in Ministry – Financial Relief Grant Deadline

Pension Fund is receiving applications from across the U.S. and Canada for the Excellence in Ministry program. This program, funded in part by Lilly Endowment, strengthens the ministry of our most outstanding early-career pastors by providing them training in financial literacy and a grant to reduce financial stress. 40 Days of Moral Action

The Poor People's Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is encouraging people of all faiths to advocate with the poor for issues that are of great concern to them. Twenty-five states will be specific targets of the campaign as well as Washington DC.  The 2017 General Assembly passed a resolution (GA 1740) to support this campaign.

The Pentecost Offering supports Disciples new church development. Planning, nurturing and sustaining new congregation is part of the Disciples’ vision. This offering supports the specialized ministry of new church development through both regional and general programs – with gifts for this offering divided between each.
