2016WoC-CongoPrayerA special worship organized in Mbandaka to close the Week of Compassion on Friday, February 26, 2016 was held at the Temple of Mbandaka III. This four-hour worship was attended by 161 people (pastors, men, women and youth). Reverend IKETE, head of the department for families in the CDCC, was the preacher of the day. Her message was based on Ruth 1:16.

The 161 Congolese attending the special service collected $500 (US) for Week of Compassion.

Intercessory prayers included the grace of God to the people, hope for those affected by the natural disasters that destroy the world peace, the electoral process in the Democratic Republic of Congo, education, children, war and rape, and the partnership between the Disciples in the USA and those in Congo.

The offerings collected in this service were US $ 500, which will be sent to Week of Compassion.

Cher Révérend Rick,

Je m’empresse par ce mail de vous informer du culte spécial organisé à Mbandaka pour clôturer la semaine de compassion, ce vendredi 26 février 2016, de 11h00’ à 15h00’, dans le Temple de Mbandaka III. Ce culte a connu la participation de 161 personnes (pasteurs, hommes, femmes et jeunes). Révérende IKETE, Responsable du Département femme et famille de la CDCC, était la prédicatrice du jour. Elle a tirée son message du livre de Ruth 1 : 16.

La prière d’intercession a été dite tour à tour par des membres choisis, avec divers sujets, notamment la grâce de Dieu envers son peuple, les catastrophes naturelles qui détruisent le monde, la paix et le processus électoral en RD Congo, l’éducation des enfants, les guerres et les viols, le partenariat entre les Disciples aux USA et ceux au Congo.

Les offrandes collectées dans ce culte étaient d’une valeur de 500 US $, lesquels seront déposés à la caisse centrale de la CDCC pour être envoyés au bureau de Week of Compassion au moment opportun.
