Dr. Fred Evans, former Regional Minister of the Christian Church in Montana, died on Saturday night, July 19. His daughter, Rev. Patty Evans, Pastor of First Christian Church, Albany, Oregon, was by his side. Fred served in numerous ministries in Oregon and California and as Interim Regional Minister for the Pacific Southwest Region. Fred was instrumental in developing the Cane Ridge West campground for the Montana region. He was also a veteran who had served his country with pride and courage. They often attended services at both churches on the same morning.
