Applications for the 2024-2025 cohort groups have now closed.
The Proclamation Project cohort groups are designed for preachers to connect with other preachers for collegiality and support.
Theme-Based Groups
(18-month commitment; virtual and in-person)
Each group of 6-10 people will be formed around a different focus area. The agenda and curriculum will be set by the group itself, with the help of a trained facilitator who will guide the group in shaping its work. In addition to the program determined by the group, each group will meet online monthly through July 2025 and meet in person in fall 2024 and at General Assembly 2025.
Workshop Groups
(12-month commitment; all virtual meetings)
Each group of 6-10 people will meet monthly online. Groups will be primarily self-directed, though a convener will be chosen from each group. At each meeting, the group will discuss a brief reading, video, or podcast and workshop one member’s sermon.
Language-Based Groups
(12-month commitment; all virtual meetings)
These groups are for preachers who primarily preach in a language other than English. Each group will provide peer support and encouragement as well as develop preaching resources in those languages. These groups are being developed in partnership with NAPAD and Obra Hispana; please contact us if you would like to learn more.
