Brim: Creative Overflow in Worship Design named editor

Brim: Creative Overflow in Worship Design by Andra Moran and Suzanne Castle, has been named as an Editor’s Pick in the 2013 Worship Leader Magazine Best of the Best Issue. Brim was selected in the Service Planners category.

Since its release in April 2013, Brim has garnered enthusiastic reviews from clergy and lay persons. Andrea Hunter of Worship Leader Magazine wrote, “The good news is that as you walk through and bring these pages to life in your community, Moran and Castle mentor you into an inspired approach to worship that is involving, revelatory, unique, community building, challenging, and transforming. A wealth of worship wisdom.”

Both authors have lifelong connections to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). A longtime favorite of General Assembly worshippers, Andra Moran is a performing artist, worship designer and songwriter whose songs are sung in churches across the country. She serves The Bridge at Woodmont Christian Church in Nashville as the Creative Director, organizing musical and artistic content shared in weekly worship. Rev. Dr. Suzanne Castle serves University Christian Church in Fort Worth and is the primary worship architect for both traditional worship and the alternative service The Search. The pair presented a worship track seminar at the 2013 General Assembly in Orlando and are frequent guest presenters at events across the country, including the Wild Goose Festival and the Association of Disciples Musicians conference.
