Three Minneapolis congregations — First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Salem English Lutheran (ELCA) and Lyndale United Church of Christ — are sharing one building. The SpringHouse Ministry Center, formerly home to the Lutheran congregation, hosted an open house February 4 and is holding a worship service on March 25 to dedicate the shared facility. Each congregation will worship in its own way and will share common ministries such as education and mission.
“We think SpringHouse can be a new way of being church in the 21st century,” said Bob Brite, First Christian’s transitional pastor. For more about SpringHouse and the three congregations, go to: springhousemn.org.
