Search re-opens for National Pastor

The Hispanic Board of Directors and Pastoral Commission for Hispanic Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is announcing that it is re-opening the process of receiving applicants for the position of National Pastor for Hispanic and Bilingual Ministries located in the Disciples Center, Indianapolis.
The Search Committee has been engaged in a process of spiritual discernment for the past year. This discernment has led them to the understanding that the person needed for this position has not yet been identified.
The National Pastor is the executive of the Central Office for Hispanic Ministries, a ministry of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), responsible for developing programs and offering pastoral care to Hispanic ministers, lay leaders and Hispanic congregations, as well as advocating for the Obra Hispana before General and Regional expressions within the community of Disciples’ faith.

All applicants are required to provide updated search and call paperwork in order to be considered.¬† Furthermore, all applicants are required to submit a “Letter of Interest” postmarked by March 1, 2016. ¬†More information can be found on http://www.obrahispana.org
