Order before Sept. 7 for Advent delivery
ST LOUIS — After a three-year hiatus, a limited run of Chalice Hymnal is in the works for later this year. However, at least 700 copies of the pew edition need to be ordered by September 7 to carry out the printing.
Because this is a limited print run, CBP cannot guarantee that orders placed after Labor Day (Sept. 7) can be filled, so congregations are strongly encouraged to place their order this summer.
Orders will be delivered before Advent begins on Nov. 29.
Marking 20 years in print (1995-2015), Chalice Hymnal is one of the most popular and best-selling hymnals ever produced. More than 620 easy-to-sing traditional and contemporary hymns, prayers, and liturgies make Chalice Hymnal the choice of churches all over the country and in many denominations.
“One of the most-asked questions I’ve heard has been, ‘Is there going to be another printing of Chalice Hymnal?’” says CBP President Brad Lyons. “Over the past three years we’ve seen congregations continue to order Chalice Hymnal in small batches, and a few catastrophes like church fires and storms have led to grassroots efforts to gather a new collection. While printing a huge batch, we want to help congregations find replacement copies or to change to Chalice Hymnal—a new print run makes that possible.”
The pew edition is available in red and blue covers with a cross and “Chalice Hymnal” in gold foil for $24.99 each. A large-print edition with a red cover and chalice foil is available for $30.99, and a spiral-bound large-print edition with a red cover and chalice foil is $36.99. The Gift Leather version with a black cover and cross foil is $54.99.
