Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church hosts the “No Limits” Revival with nationally known clergy
October 28, 2013- Memphis, Tenn.- Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church will host the “No Limits” Revival beginning Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 through Friday, Nov. 8, 2013. The revival will precede the 92nd church anniversary and Founder’s Day on Sunday, Nov. 10. The revival will take place nightly at 7:00 p.m. at the Midtown location of 70 North Bellevue Blvd., Memphis, Tennessee. Featured guests include: Dr. Solomon Kinloch, Jr. of Triumph Church in Detroit, Mich. on Nov. 6; Pastor Phillip Pointer of St. Mark Baptist Church in Little Rock, Ark. on Nov. 7; and Bishop Joseph W. Walker III of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Nashville, Tenn. on Nov. 8.
Community and congregation members may sign up for the healthcare law informational sessions each night after the revival worship services. The sessions will take place Monday, Nov. 11 through Thursday, Nov. 14 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Seminar Room at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church.
“This year the church will take on a revival initiative and will be hosting informational sessions about the new healthcare law, The Affordable Care Act. I have great expectations for Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church as we lead, learn, live and love without limits. Naturally, the revival celebration was titled, ‘No Limits’,” says Reverend J. Lawrence Turner, senior pastor of Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church.
Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church is located in Memphis, Tenn.. The city is known for its involvement in the civil rights movement with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The church’s new vision speaks to worship, evangelism, missions and discipleship. The central scripture that encompasses the vision comes from Ephesians 3:20 ESV, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us”.
