Green Chalice’s mission is to connect Christian faith, spiritual practice and creation consciousness in order to demonstrate the fullness of God’s shalom. Out of our call to “do justice” (Micah 6:8), we strive to demonstrate the fullness of God’s shalom through living out our faith by caring for God’s creation.
The purpose of the Green Chalice Program is to encourage and assist local congregations/DOC Offices and Assemblies who wish to live out their faith by caring for creation. From Hawaii and Washington to Ontario and Florida, and everywhere in between, Green Chalice congregations are caring for creation in unique and inspiring ways.

Caring for the Earth: Stories from Faith Communities
Faith communities across the country are on the frontlines of climate action, leading with hope, compassion, and courage. This Faith + Climate Film Series , featuring 5 DOC leaders, brings together powerful voices representing many faith traditions to explore how our spiritual traditions call us to care for creation and each other.
Each 20-minute film is paired with a Study + Discussion Guide designed for faith groups of all ages and sizes seeking deeper engagement. You will also receive easy-to-follow facilitation materials that empower you to confidently guide your group, complete with ready-to-use promotional resources and step-by-step support for organizing an in-person viewing and discussion of the film series. When you sign up, you’ll gain full access to the film series along with these tools to spark meaningful conversation and lead a successful session.
