Deadlines related to two significant gatherings in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Council on Christian Unity (CCU) are almost here. The final day to submit applications for the "Joe A. and Nancy Vaughn Stalcup 2nd Century Visioning Conference on Christian Unity" is March 31. Participants at the conference, which will take place June 14-17 in St. Louis, Mo., will develop recommendations to the CCU and the whole Church related to Disciples’ ecumenical future.
Another cut-off date associated with the CCU’s centennial celebration is April 13, the date that reservations are due for its 100th Anniversary Dinner which takes place April 27 in Indianapolis. Paul A. Crow Jr. will be honored as "President Emeritus" of the CCU at the dinner in recognition of his 25 years of service to the ministry.
