The North American Pacific/Asian Disciples (NAPAD) treated over 20 Disciples today to a wonderful lunch during the World Council of Churches’ 10th Assembly in Busan, Republic of Korea.
NAPAD Executive Pastor Rev. Dr. Jinsuk Chun invited all Disciples to the lunch as a brief respite and opportunity for fellowship amidst the busy assembly.
The Rev. Dr. Robert Welsh, president of the Disciples’ Council on Christian Unity, thanked Rev. Chun and NAPAD and emphatically described the lunch as another expression of hospitality and fellowship that has been common from various Korean communities over the days of this assembly.
