2022 State of the Church given at general board

As part of the gathering of the General Board of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada, Rev. Teresa “Terri” Hord Owens deliver the State of the Church address on Friday, February 11, 2022. Addressing some of the celebrations and challenges across the many ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Rev. Hord Owens also shared a reflection on scripture and urges the church to “get inside God’s imagination” as we imagine how to live out God’s limitless love. “Let’s get inside God’s imagination and ensure that our church is actively bringing about the Kindom of God.” -Rev.
