Disciples will get an opportunity to hear Moderator and noted Disciples historian D. Newell Williams share historical reflections on three occasions at this year’s General Assembly. As part of worshipful work, Williams will talk about our spiritual heritage as members of the Stone-Campbell movement at the conclusion of each business session. Those sessions take place on the mornings of Thursday, July 30, Friday July 31 and Saturday, August 1 and are entitled, "Founding Spirituality," "Distortions of Stone-Campbell Spirituality," and "More Distortions of Stone-Campbell Spirituality." Williams, who is president of Brite Divinity School in Fort Worth Texas, is presenting the reflections in recognition of the 200th Anniversary of the Declaration and Address. You will not want to miss them. For more information, visit the General Assembly schedules for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. and view the schedules for Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
