Seven youth from the Evangelical-Reformed Church in Poland will visit the United States this month and next in celebration of a new three-way partnership in mission. The group’s American tour is jointly supported by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Synod of the Covenant, and by Global Ministries, a common witness of the United Church of Christ and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). The youth, ages 15-18, will attend church camps in Pennsylvania and Iowa, visit churches in New York and Illinois, participate in a 3-day urban mission outreach, and attend the General Assembly in Indianapolis. "The youth are coming from a minority and Diaspora church in Poland. Being with youth from US congregations will help them recognize that they are a part of the Church Universal – not so alone," said Semko Koroza, pastor of the Lódz congregation in Poland.
