Quality programs for both pre-school and school age children at General Assembly have been developed by Local Arrangement teams in the Nashville area. Trained professional staff and certified volunteers will provide care and instruction for both age groups. To ensure the safety of each child, all volunteers will undergo a thorough background check with The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) preferred background check vendor, Praesidium. Additionally, to ensure that each child is safely released only to an authorized parent or adult, matching security bracelets will be provided to each child and his or her parent or guardian at the beginning of the event.
The pre-school program will allow youngsters to "Tell It" through interaction with Bible stories. Children will interpret and experience the stories using art, music and drama. Play and rest time also will be included. Children will leave each day with a product of their experience. Activities will be age-appropriate and engaging and will take place on July 11, 12 and 13.
All available slots for the school age program themed: ‘C.S.I.-Nashville: Christian Story Investigators’ have been filled. The parents of school-age children are still encouraged to fill out the children’s information form on the website. You will be informed as vacancies occur.
