Disciples Home Missions opens search for president

The Board of Directors of Disciples Home Missions, a general ministry of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) announces the opening for the position of President of Disciples Home Missions. The Board is seeking a dynamic leader for the ministry who will oversee program development in the areas of faith formation, leadership development, congregational transformation, Search and Call, Disciples Volunteering, Refugee and Immigration Ministries, Immigration Legal Counsel, Family and Children’s Ministries, Youth Ministry, Young Adult Ministry, among other ministries, all within a pro-reconciling anti-racist framework.

Requirements for the position include a Master of Divinity from an accredited seminary or university, experience in administration at the general, regional or local church level, and a broad knowledge of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and its organizational procedures.
