The Christian Board of Publication board of directors has appointed Bradley E. Lyons as the new president and publisher. For the last 11 years, Lyons has served as communications director and program officer at Higher Education and Leadership Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). In addition to guiding communications for HELM, Lyons has overseen the day-to-day operations of the HELM leadership fellows program and the student ecumenical team.
A native of Edmond, Okla., Lyons holds a master’s degree in fine arts from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and an undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism. "Brad brings great experience, creativity and passion for the CBP mission to provide Christian spiritual resources to people who want and need them," said Julie Burch, chair of the CBP board.
