As the United States Federal government response to COVID-19 unfolds, congregations and ministries are asking questions about resources that may be available to 501c3s and employment law matters that should be considered. The financial ministries – Christian Church Foundation, Disciples Church Extension Fund, and Pension Fund of the Christian Church – are partnering to produce a statement that will address questions with information provided by their legal counsel and Church Alliance. Pension Fund is a member of Church Alliance, which is a lobbying organization supporting church benefit boards and church workers. The statement will be available in the coming week.
