A new course at Bethany College focuses on getting students ready for life after graduation. The class is entitled "professional transitions," and will be taught by John E. Osborne, a former corporate executive who teaches economics and business at Bethany and is also director of career counseling and placement there. Students in the class also get to listen to speakers from the corporate world on topics such as banking and borrowing, investing, how to negotiate salary and benefits, and legal issues.
The students taking the course also learn how to write a resume along with other problem solving skills. Read More.
