Enrollment at two Disciples-affiliated colleges, Midway College and Northwest Christian University, has grown significantly this fall. Enrollment at Midway College, in Midway, Ky., jumped by 17.3 percent this fall over a year ago. More students are attending all divisions of the college, including the women’s college, online college, school for career development and graduate school. Meanwhile, 624 students have enrolled in classes at Northwest Christian University for the fall term, which is the largest student enrollment in the college’s 115-year history. NCU, in Eugene, Oregon, which is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ, saw enrollment grow in traditional undergraduate and professional studies programs by 8 percent and the graduate program by 30 percent.
