Midway College has a new scholarship fund to help students navigate challenging economic times. The fund was set up to assist adults who want to complete academic requirements for a bachelor’s degree in order to find new employment or advance in a current career. The program is designed to offer an educational alternative to adults facing an unstable job market.
When combined with other sources of financial aid, Midway’s new scholarship program could pay the total cost of a bachelor’s degree for dislocated workers. "These funds are substantial, but limited, and will be awarded on a first come-first served basis," said Midway College President William B. Drake Jr. To find out more, see: www.midway.edu/node/1572
