Bruce Tilsley, 80, of Arvada, Colo., passed away on Nov. 27, 2012. Tilsley was the graphic designer responsible for defining the now-familiar chalice logo of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) accepted at the 1971 General Assembly in Louisville. It was based on a napkin drawing given to him by Robert Friedly and Ronald Osborn. Read the story.
He was also a member of the General Board, Administrative Committee and vice president of the national men’s fellowship. He was a resident of Colorado most of his adult life.
