Ecumenical Advocacy Days To Look At Ways To Share The World's Resources

Disciples will be among those attending Ecumenical Advocacy Days in Arlington, Va. March 13-16. Participants will explore connections between climate change, migration and poverty in the United States and abroad. The meeting will be themed "Enough for All Creation," and also look at ways to share the world’s resources fairly and justly.

Hundreds of people from different Christian communions will participate in discussions about the effect of U.S. policy on the developing world. In addition, those who attend Ecumenical Advocacy Days will receive training in effective advocacy and attend meetings with members of Congress or their staffs in Washington, D.C. to discuss climate change legislation.
