Learn the meaning of the Quadrennial logo
Designer Michael Dominguez offers his explanation of the rich symbolism in the 2014 Quadrennial: The inner circle with its vertical and horizontal lines symbolizes the world. The heart shape that surrounds the world is women, committed to be in solidarity with all peoples of the globe and help make the world a better place to live. The shepherds crook across the center symbolizes care and nurture and the a cross on the left side symbolizes faith and dedication thru Jesus Christ. Finally, the multiple colors allude to the variety of all peoples of the world.
