The Tennyson Center for Children at Colorado Christian Home in Denver is one of 15 finalists in an international Twitter "Vote for a Cause" chance to receive $1 million. The center was selected to be a finalist in the competition after submitting a two-paragraph statement. Don Brewer, director of Disciples Care Network, was director of the Tennyson treatment center for abused and at risk children and families for 23 years.
Corporate and individual gifts will make up the winning prize in the Vote for a Cause. Disciples can make a real difference in the lives of abused and neglected children by voting. To participate, go to the Vote for a Cause website at www.twittacause.com/vote-for-a-cause.php and vote for Number 13, Tennyson Center for Children. Participants do not need to be a Twitter user to vote. They simply have to vote in the dark blue box on the right side of the webpage.
