The Association of Disciple Musicians (ADM) is in "high-gear" planning its 2010 conference, which will be held at Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Lexington, Ky. July 24-28. Clinicians for this summer’s conference are John Opsata and Larry Sivis for worship; Andra Moran for emerging worship; Lynne Gackle for choral activities; Robert Hobby for organ activities; and Tim Waugh for handbells.
For the past 48 years, ADM has met at various university campuses and some Disciples churches to increase the effectiveness of musicians, clergy, and laity through the exchange of ideas, development of skills, and opportunities for fellowship as they participate in the mission of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). The membership of ADM is composed mainly of choir directors, organists, musicians, handbell ringers, clergy and lay persons who are interested in the musical life of the church.
