The General Commission on Ministry (GCOM) is continuing its work toward implementing Resolution 0922, "Theological Foundations and Policies and Criteria for the Ordering of Ministry." The document was adopted by the 2009 General Assembly, and will replace the current document, "Policies and Criteria for the Order of Ministry." The resolution is being implemented over a two-year period and calls for changes to the processes by which people move through the steps to become recognized ministers in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Between the July 2009 General Assembly and August of 2011, the General Commission on Ministry will continue to work to implement the changes outlined in the resolution.
