"Hearts of Fire: The Holy Spirit Transforms our Hearts and Makes us Whole" is this year’s theme for the Reconciliation Ministry offering that will be received in churches on Sunday, Sept. 26th and Sunday, Oct. 3rd. To prepare for the offering, Ron and Linda McKiernan-Allen have prepared worship resources to help congregations begin promoting our mission priority to become a pro-reconciling/anti-racist church – a church that through its values and practices welcomes all to the Lord’s Table as God has welcomed us. You can find these worship resources on the following link:
The resources also can be found on both the Council on Christian Unity at:

On Sunday, Oct. 3rd, our Church will embody the theme "Hearts of Fire," as Christians across the globe share as one family of God, guided by the Holy Spirit who allows us to hear God’s voice in many tongues, nations and cultures. Living into the wisdom of the 2007 General Assembly resolution 0719, the offering is received and celebrated on World Communion Sunday acknowledging the mutuality of God’s call to unity and God’s call to be reconciled one to another and all to God. Please give generously to the Reconciliation Ministry offering.
