The Proclamation Project, an initiative of the Office of the General Minister and President, seeks to support and equip Disciples preachers. These resources have been developed with Disciples preachers in mind, and can be adapted for each ministry context. Sermon series materials for planning worship, sermon outlines for special Sundays, and theme focused resources are available. As the Proclamation Project grows, these resources will be catalogued in a Disciples resource library.
Everyday Prayerbook: A Sermon Series based on the Psalms
The Psalms are at the heart of the Bible: ancient prayers and songs that can help us voice our grief or celebrate our joy. This series will help your congregation explore this everyday prayer book by focusing on a different aspect of the Psalms each week. This is a six-week series that could be used between Easter and Pentecost, in the summer months, or any time that fits your schedule.

New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day
This a simple outline for a sermon to preach on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day based on Isaiah 63:7-9 and Isaiah 43:19. It’s designed to be interactive with the congregation encouraging them to remember what God has done, and to look ahead to the new thing God is doing in the new year. This outline is easily adapted to speak to each congregation.
