As the database of congregational information and Yearbook history, ALEX can paint a data-driven picture of your congregation by reporting statistics, history, and trends in participation and stewardship. Using the historical data stored in ALEX, ALEX staff can generate ten-year snapshot of your congregation’s membership and financial trends.
ALEX staff can also generate custom reports and data files for your church containing information reported in ALEX.
Congregations report Yearbook statistics each year on the ALEX web site. Reporting each year not only paints a clearer picture of the congregation, but it also informs your region and general ministries as they work to support your ministry. The annual reporting period is typically during January and February each year.
By entering weekly attendance and giving data in ALEX, congregations can see trends in giving and attendance for time frames as long as two years.
On the ALEX website, the congregational reporter can update address and contact information for the congregation.
The ALEX team in the Office of General Minister and President can answer your data related questions.
