The Christian Church Foundation is pleased to announce Rev. Monica Myers Greenberg will serve as the new Vice President for the Mountain West Zone. Rev. Myers Greenberg is a graduate of Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia, and Brite Divinity School in Fort Worth, Texas. Originally from Ohio, she has served congregations in the Northern Lights Region for the past 21 years. In addition to her ministry with congregations, Rev. Myers Greenberg has been very involved in the life and work of the Northern Lights Region. Rev. Myers Greenberg and her husband reside in Seattle, Washington with their son and dog.
Rev. Myers Greenberg became intimately acquainted with the work of the Christian Church Foundation several years ago when the congregation she currently serves received a grant from a local foundation. The congregation decided to partner with the Christian Church Foundation to invest their money for long-term support of their congregational mission. Rev. Myers Greenberg says, “I was impressed by the Foundation’s integrity and focus on ‘moving money to mission’ and I am very pleased to have the opportunity to contribute to those efforts as Vice President for Development in the Mountain West Zone. I look forward to partnering with people who love the church and have a passion for insuring, through their own generosity, that the church’s faith and witness will continue for many years to come.”
The staff of the Christian Church Foundation look forward to welcoming Rev. Myers Greenberg. Rev. Myers Greenberg will work closely with Rev. Jerry Lang prior to beginning her new position on January 1, 2021.
