The Poor People’s & Low Wage Workers’ Assembly & Moral March on Washington and to the Polls will convene on June 29, 2024. The assembly will “call on candidates for public office” to “endorse a moral public policy agenda that includes policies that lift from the bottom.” Visit the Poor People’s Campaign website to learn more and register.
The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is an anchor organization. If you are a Disciple planning to attend this year’s assembly and moral march, please let us know here. Disciples are invited to gather at National City Christian Church, our national church, at 9 am on June 29th. Plan to join us as we prepare for the day and share together prior to walking over to the assembly on the National Mall that begins at 10am.
