1318 Adopted Celebrate & Reaffirm Commitment to New Church Submitted by: New Church Ministry A list of new churches by region.
1319 Received Report of General Assembly Committee of the General Board Submitted by: General Board Includes follow-up on previous General Assembly resolutions, such as 0919 Christian Unity & War; 1116 Addressing Anti-Muslim Action in America; 1117 Call for Reflection and Advocacy on Behalf of the Democratic Republic of Congo; 1119 Moral Injury and Spiritual Care in a Time of War; 1120 Human Trafficking; 1121 Justice in Education Reform; and 1122 Preventing Abuse and Ministering to Its Victims and Survivors Creating Safe Church/Safe Ministry.
1320 Adopted Time & Place Committee Report Submitted by: General Board The committee recommends the 2017 General Assembly be held in Indianapolis July 8 – 12, 2017.
1321 Adopted with revisions Open Meetings Policy Submitted by: General Board After a two year trial implementation, the General Assembly is requested to approve a revised open meeting policy.
1322 Adopted Hearing Accessibility for Participants Submitted by: Christian Church in the Upper Midwest In addition to calling on the General Assembly and regions to make meetings fully accessible to those with hearing loss, the submitters call for a workshop at the 2015 assembly on how groups are implementing these strategies.  
1323 Adopted Incarceration, Justice and Restoration in the United States Submitted by: East Dallas Christian Church, Dallas, Texas and National Convocation This Item for Reflection and Research calls for the Church to reflect and research how to advocate on behalf of nonviolent, first-time drug offenders, particularly those from poor communities, for the restoration of their access to public assistance programs, education and their right to vote.
1324 Accepted Reflection on Christian Theology and Polity, the Christian Doctrine of Discovery, and the Indigenous Voice Submitted by: several sources – see the resolution for complete list In this Item for and Reflection and Research, the Church is called to engage in reflection, prayer, and education about the Christian Doctrine of Discovery and its effect on Disciples theology and polity, and explore how the Church might become accountable to indigenous persons.
1325 Adopted Change in Regional Boundaries South Idaho, Oregon and Central Rocky Mountain regions Submitted by: Governance Committee of the General Board in consultation with the congregations and board of the affected region
The South Idaho regional board voted to close the region at the end of 2013. This item moves forward the new regional alignment of the congregations with some congregations joining the Oregon region and some joining the Central Rocky Mountain region.
1326 Adopted Resolution Concerning Wage Theft Submitted by: Pilgrimage Christian Church, Suitland, Maryland Congregations and other organizations of the Church are encouraged to work against unfair labor practices through civil avenues and through informed purchase of services and goods.
1327 Adopted Becoming a People of Grace and Welcome to All Submitted by several sources – see the resolution for complete list The General Assembly calls upon the Church to recognize itself as striving to become a people of grace and welcome to all God’s children though differing in sexual orientation or gender identity, affirming that neither are grounds for exclusion from fellowship or service within the church, and calling upon all expressions of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), as a people of grace and welcome, to acknowledge their support for the welcome of and hospitality to all.
1328 Adopted Removal of Any Racist Language in the Governing Documents of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Submitted by: Woodland Christian Church; Heights Christian Church; Christian Church in Ohio Anti-Racism/Pro-Reconciliation Commission
The resolution calls for a racially inclusive panel review the governing documents of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and recommend to the appropriate bodies any needed changes to those documents.
1329 Adopted Supporting a treaty for the Prevention of Torture Submitted by: Park Avenue Christian Church, New York Calls on the assembly to urge U.S. and Canadian legislators to ratify Optional Protocol to the Convention Against Torture (OPCAT) and that the Office of General Minister and President spread the request of the National Religious Campaign Against Torture for study of the issue.
1330 Adopted Change in Regional Boundaries Great River Region and Tennessee Submitted by: The Governance Committee of the General Board in consultation with First Christian Church, West Memphis, Arkansas, the Great River Region and the Tennessee Region First Christian Church in West Memphis, though in Arkansas, is geographically and culturally connected to the Tennessee region.
1331 Adopted Resolution Condemning Drone Warfare Submitted by: Disciples Peace Fellowship A request to condemn the use of drones outside war and for the General Minister and President to send a letter to the president of the United States expressing the sentiment of the assembly.
1332 Adopted with revisions Encouraging a Fuller Experience of the Holy Land Submitted by: Bethany Beach Christian Church, Bethany Beach, Delaware The resolution encourage travelers to be in contact with the Division of Overseas Ministries for information about a balanced approach to visiting the region.
1333 Adopted with revisions Regarding Parental Leave Submitted by: Pacific Southwest Region; First Christian Church of Orange, CA; Foothills Christian Church, Glendale, AZ All expressions of the Church are encouraged to include parental leave for both births and adoptions as part of employment agreements for both clergy and lay persons.
1334 Adopted General Nominating Committee Submitted by: General Nominating Committee Moderators for election: Glen Miles, moderator; Joan Bell-Haynes, first vice moderator; Tony Rodriguez, second vice moderator. At-large members of the General Board  (Names and biographical information are in full text of resolution.)
1335 Adopted Disciples Center for Public Witness as a Recognized Organization Submitted by: Administrative Committee of the General Board of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) The center has grown to include partnerships ecumenically and with Disciple congregations in Georgia, Indiana, New York and Washington D.C. as well as the Capital Region and various Disciple ministries, spanning all expressions of the church in its relationships.
1336 Approved 2013 Amendments to the Design of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Submitted by: General Board
Included are updates to how the General Board is organized to accomplish the work authorized by The Design; technical corrections; and a new process clarifying Recognized Ministry Partners providing for greater accountability and enhanced relationships. In addition is a proposal to institute a moderator-elect position and eliminate the past moderator’s place on the General Board.
