I am sorry very sorry and shocked to learn of Mark’s passing. He and Jeffica connected professionally and socially with my wife Diane and I while they were in Toronto on their all-to-short time here. In Diane’s final days, Mark was a pastoral presence that I will never forget.
My condolences to all the family.

Mark was a beloved friend, colleague, and encourager, brightening every space he entered. He was a model scholar, and though we have not been together very much in recent years, I will miss his presence in my life. I know his departure leaves those closest to him with a massive hole in their lives and hearts.

I am sorry to get this news. I am thankful for the time I knew him at Brite, and so grateful for the gift he left us in the form of his book. I have used it and will continue to refer to it anytime I speak about my denomination. Rest well, Dr. Toulouse! And my gratitude and prayers to the Toulouse family!
